OUR EXPERIENCE IN CAPE TOWN

We drove from Oudtshoorn to Cape Town (420 km, 5 hours).  You can drive inside the city, but city rimes with trafic, so it's better to take buses or taxis. If you feel like getting around with a bike, there is really good cycle lanes (thanks to the World Cup) but you need to be prepared for the many hills and long distances between the different landmarks.

We spent 3 days and 3 nights in Cape Town. It was a short visit but it was actually well planned because the weather was really bad (end of july is not the best time to visit the city), Indeed, we came to Cape Town to hike so the rain kind of stopped us.

Finding an accomodation in Cape Town is really easy, like in most big cities in the world. There is many guesthouses for surfers and backpackers, different kinds of hotels, and you can find a lot of flat to rent on airbnb. We rented a small flat full-equiped with a balcony and a view on Table Mountain for 380 ZAR (26€).
