SANDBOARDING IN JEFFREYS BAY
Based on the same principle than snowboarding, but on sand dunes, sandboarding is our best sport discovery of this trip! Sliding down or carving arcs down the dunes of the coast, with a view on the blue Indian Ocean is an experience you have to try. Even if you are not an experienced sandboarder, it is very easy and fun to learn! There is many spots to enjoy these thrills on the coastline of Eastern Cape, such as the beaches of Port Elizabeth or Jeffreys Bay. We did sandboarding in Jeffreys Bay, a home to some of the biggest and most spectacular dunes in South Africa. It cost us 200 ZAR (13€) per person for 2 hours (with the board).
